This November, we’re celebrating gratitude—not just for the stories we’ve read this year, but for the memories we’ve made and the community we’ve built together through Books & Brushstrokes.

Gather around our harvest table, enjoy delicious charcuterie, and spend time with fellow readers as we create something designed to hold life’s most treasured keepsakes.

This month, we’ll transform a beautiful linen book box into a one-of-a-kind mixed media keepsake you’ll treasure for years to come.

Using layered papers, paints, specialty finishes, ribbons, vintage-inspired embellishments, and thoughtful details, you’ll design a piece that reflects your own story and style.

Once complete, your keepsake box can be used to hold treasured letters, photographs, favorite bookmarks, ornaments, recipes, jewelry, travel mementos, family keepsakes, and all the little things that tell your story.

No two boxes will ever be alike, making each one a truly personal creation.

Inside every Story Keepsake Box, you’ll find a small envelope and card.

Before you leave, you’ll be invited to write a note to your future self—a favorite memory, something you’re thankful for, a hope for the coming year, or a reminder you never want to forget.

Seal it, tuck it safely inside your box, and don’t open it until next year’s November Books & Brushstrokes gathering.
